Cubic Zirconia Jewelry vs. Diamond Jewelry

Cubic Zirconia
Cubic zirconia, also known as zirconium dioxide, is a hard, man-made crystal stone. It comes in many colors and shapes, and it resembles the look of a genuine diamond. Since cubic zirconia and diamond look so much similar, cubic zirconia is a great substitute for diamond. When cubic zirconia is used in jewelries, the price of CZ jewelries is much cheaper than the price of the genuine diamond jewelries.

Cubic zirconia can be found in almost every setting, from solid yellow or solid white gold, to solid silver, plated silver or gold etc. With high-quality cubic zirconia jewelry readily available, you no longer need to spend literally thousands of dollars on diamond jewelries, especially if you're afraid of losing the precious stone or have it stolen.

With just a small amount of money spend in CZ jewelries; you will probably feel freer wearing your jewelries around. Let's face it; if you're wearing a large and expensive real diamond (or several), how safe will you feel wearing it out in the public? That is why many people keep their diamond jewelries at home or in a safe, and only wear it for special occasions. That's not a concern with cubic zirconia because you can wear it anywhere you want -- and even if you lose it, its replacement cost is much less than diamond jewelries.

It's also much safer to give young people CZ jewelry if they want something like a diamond, but aren't yet quite responsible enough to have something like that. Let's say you have a favorite young niece and that you are thinking of buying her a pair of diamond earrings for her birthday. However, she's not quite ready for the responsibility, and she may lose them. Instead, why not buy her a pair of sparkly cubic zirconia earrings? They will look like exactly like diamonds, and you don’t have to worry that in case she loses them. It’s definitely a smart choice!

Today's CZ jewelries are much more sophisticated designed than they were couple years ago, and in fact most "ordinary" people can't tell the differences between a genuine diamond and a cubic zirconia. Even trained professionals have to exam the stones very carefully in order to spot the difference. Since CZ jewelries are not pricey at all, you can afford to buy many sets of them and mix and match them with your everyday clothes.

If you are ready to check out some beautiful CZ jewelries, please go on to Emitations. They have so many different kinds of jewelries, and I’m sure you will find the ones you like!
